Pumpkins, Tutus and Babies, Oh My!

This entry is part 4 of 12 in the series 12 Weeks of Giving

Random Acts of Kindness, 12 Weeks of Christmas, 12 Weeks of Giving, Non-Profit, Charity

For this week’s Random Act of Kindness I decided to do something special for my family.  I have three baby nieces.  Actually one is a great-niece and I’ve even blogged about her before.  All three of them are just precious!  Since I love Holidays I decided to hand-make all three of them tutus and dress them up for photos at the Pumpkin Patch.  After visiting the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch and seeing the adorable area to take ‘My First Pumpkin Patch‘ photos I thought it would be the perfect place to take Dakota, Kylii and Rae.  Plus it’s always fun to play with some other little babies to help curve my baby fever every once in a while.  My youngest is 4 1/2 now…

I can’t wait to have these photos printed for the family.  I think they will look so cute on some Thanksgiving photo cards!  I do believe the tutus turned out pretty dang cute, if I must say so myself.  I can get crafty at times!

{Kylii’s Collage}

Kylii is my great-niece that just turned 1 this past summer.  She is getting so big so quick.  Her favorite part of the day was picking up the pumpkins to roll, running to pick them back up and carrying them around.  She loved them.  She also loved climbing on top of them.  So cute!  Of course she did have fun pulling her bow out of her hair too.

{Rae’s Collage}

Rae is my oldest sister’s youngest child.  She just turned 1 this summer also.  Rae is the calmest baby I have ever known.  She always walks around happy and so content with everything.  I believe her favorite part of the day was picking up the pumpkins and running around.  She thought it was hilarious to drop them and watch them roll.

{Dakota’s Collage}

Dakota is my 2 year old niece.  She is also Rae’s older sister.  Hands down her favorite part of the day was the bounce house.  She loved jumping and even tried to escape into the obstacle course bounce house with the big kids.  She is also fast, thankfully she doesn’t weigh much so you can just toss her up on your hip.  She had a hay day on the hay stack, pun intended.  We sat her up there for a photo opp and she slid down, with. out. fear.  I couldn’t even get Noah to slide down in the beginning because it didn’t look very smooth.  Dakota didn’t hesitate and thought it was hilarious when she hit the bottom.  She did this over and over and loved every minute of it.  I was just enjoying watching her have so much fun and loved capturing as much of it in photos as I could.

What a great day out with my family!
