Host Your Own Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Party With Ragu

| |

As you know, we had a blast at our Breaking Dawn party.  I sent out party invites that looked like Bella and Edward’s wedding invitation.  I hosted a Twilight Saga themed self-serve candy bar for the party guests.  I found some amazing free printables online and demonstrated how I used them for our Breaking Dawn table settings and made some great Breaking Dawn Christmas ornaments as party favors for each of the guests.
Breaking Dawn Party - Food by RaguThe party wouldn’t have been complete without serving Mushroom Ravioli.  Of course not everyone enjoys mushrooms so we also offered cheese and beef ravioli.  Garlic bread and caesar salad were on the side.  Thanks to Ragu the meal came together nicely making the dinner party a true success.

I’m not even going to lie, I bought the pre-stuffed ravioli.  With all the party preparations there was no way I had time to make ravioli from scratch, or should I say learn how to make ravioli from scratch.  I boiled it and let Ragu come to the rescue by adding the delicious sauce.  Instead of using the Traditional flavor I went with the Tomato & Basil Ragu sauce and tossed in some garlic then topped with cheese.

  1. My daughter and her friends are huge fan of Twilight (go Team Edward). This would be great for her to host her friends for a dinner party.

  2. We’ve used Ragu for years and years since I was kid. Its the sauce I most prefer. I’d love to host my own dinner party because we recently had 3 deaths in the family and as the years go by we lose site of what’s important and that’s spending time together. My cousins just recently lost their mother yesterday morning and being so close to Christmas my heart breaks for them. I’d love to have them over for ragu dinner and reconnecting

  3. I hate to admit it but I’ve never read a Twilight book or seen a movie. So I’m Team no one. I would love to host a party for my sisters from Calvary Chapel

  4. I would love to host a dinner party because there’s nothing that brings me more joy over the holidays than spending good times with family and friends.

  5. I love hosting dinner parties, but I have a severe case of Fibromyalgia and it has made it difficult for me to do this lately. With my husband’s help we were able to have my family over for Thanksgiving dinner and we had a wonderful time visiting with family.

  6. This is a split household. My husband is Team Jacob and I am Team Edward. But I’m not complaining-how many other husbands out are looking forward to the next movie as much as their wives are! And a Breaking Dawn party? He would be all over that!

  7. Team Jacob – and I would LOVE to host a party, it is fun to fill the house with friends and laughter and great food

  11. Team Jacob and I love entertaining at home. It’s so much more personal than a shared meal at a restaurant.
