Breaking Dawn Party Invites – Twilight Saga

|
This entry is part 2 of 6 in the series Breaking Dawn Party Planning

The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part 1 comes out on November 18th to theaters everywhere.  T and I are extremely excited so we are hosting a home party on Thursday, November 17th leading up to the midnight premiere.  When planning the party I wanted to try and capture the theme of Breaking Dawn specifically.  Since we all know the long awaited wedding takes place in Breaking Dawn I went with wedding invitations for our party invites.

Below is an example of the invitation that I created.

I bought simple wedding invitations at Walmart and printed my own wording on them using WilsonPrint.com templates.  The pearls were in the scrapbook section.  They are peel and stick so super easy to use, I measured with a ruler to make sure they were straight.

Since Bella Italia was the first unofficial date of Edward and Bella we are hosting an Italian dinner to reminisce the beginning as a way to celebrate their wedding.

I also printed an insert on card stock to include with the invitations to request ‘bridal gifts‘ with a limit of $20 for a white elephant gift exchange.  I thought it would be a fun party activity if everyone brought a gift that was suitable for anyone and we randomly exchange, since it’ll be all girls at the party.

I can’t wait to share more of our party planning ideas and let you know how the party turns out.

  1. Wow, very impressive! While I am not a Twihard, I do love me some Hunger Games and will use this as inspiration for my midnight premiere party in March! =)
