DIY Farmhouse Pomander Ball – Dollar Store Craft
We started remodeling our home last year and it continues to be a work in progress. One thing I love doing year round is making cute and simple home decor projects. This DIY Farmhouse Pomander Ball is easy to make and inexpensive.
DIY Farmhouse Pomander Ball Supplies
You can find most of these supplies at your local dollar store if you do not already have them in your craft closet. If you have any extra silk floral arrangements in your home, grab some of the flowers from those. I always have extra flowers from previous crafts.
- Medium Sized Foam Ball
- Assorted White and Beige Faux Floral
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun + Glue Sticks
- Ribbon or Jute
Begin by snipping the floral heads off all of the flower stems. Some you may be able to pull off the plastic piece without cutting. You only need the heads for this project and can discard the stems. Save some greenery for accents if you wish.
Add a generous dab of glue to the top of the foam ball and press a flower head to the glue. Hold in place until dry and secure.
Repeat, adding an additional dab of glue to the ball and pressing the second flower close to the first. Hold until dry.
Repeat this process, adding more glue and attaching more flower heads until all of the flowers are covering the foam ball. Placing them close together will give you a nice full look.
Finish the DIY Farmhouse Floral Pomander Ball by gluing a piece of jute or ribbon to the ball for hanging. Tie into a bow to finish.
Optional: you can glue in some foliage and greenery if you wish. Just snip, add some glue, and press into the flowers.
This makes the perfect inexpensive farmhouse decor for your home. Your farmhouse floral pomander ball is now ready to be displayed!

So pretty! I love dollar store crafts. This might be nice with a dab of essential oil, too. Thanks for a great idea!
