Team Forks Twilight Tour

Twilight Saga, Forks Washington

Our first evening in Forks, Washington we decided to take a guided tour by Team Forks.  They offer three different tours to meet your needs/desires.  No matter which tour you purchase they all start with the Twilight hot-spots within Forks.  Our tour guide was Randy and he was absolutely amazing.  He was so much fun and very friendly.  He made sure every person on the tour was satisfied with their photos at each location.  He literally went through cameras snapping away very patiently.

Of course, I can’t forget to mention the cut-outs…  This part of the tour was hilarious.  Everyone took fun photos with the various characters from Twilight.  Bella stood next to us at the Swan House, Jacob leaned up against the motorcycle we sat on at the Black Residence and of course Edward stood side by side with each person at the Cullen House.  Between Tour Guide Randy and the other ladies on our tour, it was non-stop excitement!  Some of the ladies took fun photos at the tree in the Cullen House yard with the Edward cut-out trying to climb the tree with one of the women wrapping her arm around him.  We all laughed so hard which made the experience even more memorable.

What other tour guide do you know that would lay down on the grass to take an awesome photo like this?

Team Forks offers:

  • Bella Sunset Tour – after seeing all the sights within Forks the journey continues to the Quileute reservation to watch the same sunset that Jacob and the other members of the wolf pack see.  While at Rialto Beach you get to nestle up next to a bonfire, eat hot-dogs and make s’mores.
  • Wolves Sleep In – during this tour you focus more on the Twilight hot-spots within Forks and then venture out to the Quileute village to gather more memories and take many photos
  • Lounge in Jacob’s Lair – Team Forks is the only Guided Tour company allowed to take guests onto LaPush.  After visiting all the sites within Forks your adventure takes you to the Quileute village and beyond to wander the beach in search for Jacob.

We chose the Bella’s Sunset Tour as our option.  The bonfire was what sold us on this tour.  Being on the beach after dusk in the midst of all the fog felt just like we were in the movie.  We truly enjoyed walking the beach taking photos while Randy started up the bonfire and fixed us all hot-dogs.  How awesome, right?!  After eating we gathered around and roasted marshmallows to make s’mores and got to know our group very well.  Socializing was one of the best parts!  Unfortunately we weren’t able to see the actual sunset due to all the fog, however we were in Forks and just like the books and movies show – it’s mostly rain and fog.  Perfect!

Foggy Rialto Beach

The cost of the guided tour to us was well worth it.  Being able to have the true Twilight Saga experience in Forks, Washington and beyond to the Quileute Reservation on a guided tour put us at ease.  In order to have your own personal bonfire you have to pay a small permit fee, get all your own supplies and hassle with starting the fire, cooking your hot-dogs and making sure the fire is out before leaving the beach.  Being chauffeured around while watching the making of New Moon on DVD in the comfort of our tour bus was not only enjoyable and fun but relaxing.

    1. Thanks, Erica. We had an amazing time on our trip and I’m truly enjoying sharing our experience and tips with everyone. I hope it helps someone plan their Forks, Washington trip.

  1. Sounds like so much fun! I love these kind of tours especially when everyone is interested in the same thing. Hilarious that the tour guide was on the grass to take the jumping photo! That made an impression on me.

    1. Connie: our tour guide was amazing. He was laying on his back in the grass below us to get that shot. He was so fun and full of spunk. The whole group was laughing non-stop and truly enjoying ourselves. Although we could have visited all the sites without a tour guide it wouldn’t have been as ‘alive’ as the tour became with Randy and a group.

    1. Jennifer, surprising T with a trip has been the highlight of her life so far, seriously. She loved it and to be honest, so did I. I truly enjoyed the whole trip and we saw some non-Twilight stuff too. Beautiful state. I’m always happy to share any suggestions if that day comes where you do plan one.
