When planning where to stay during your visit to Forks, Washington I suggest using the Chamber of Commerce’s website where they offer a full list of lodging choices. There are a hand full of places to stay within Forks, however keep in mind that Forks, Washington is a very small town and some of the places listed are right outside of town.
Three of the most popular places to stay for the full Twilight Saga experience are:
- Miller Tree Inn Bed & Breakfast also known as the Cullen House
- Dew Drop Inn Motel which features the Bella Suite
- Jacob Black’s House which is located right outside of Forks near La Push.
When planning your trip make sure you call as far in advance as possible because Forks, Washington is a hot tourist spot now and most of these places book up fast!
During our trip we spent our first two nights at the Forks Motel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It had been many years since I stayed at a small town Motel and I even forgot to take my own blow dryer. Although their rooms weren’t all equipped with hair dryers, the manager was more than friendly enough to accommodate me with one. Their wireless internet worked well for me to complete some last minute work in the evenings and they had enough bandwidth for me to upload photos to share from our trip.
Our last night in Forks we stayed at the Cullen House. My daughter is Team Edward and this was one experience she didn’t want to miss. Upon check-in the owners give you a nice warm welcome with a tour of the quaint Bed & Breakfast and even carry your luggage upstairs for you.
Without breaking Twilight Saga character the Miller Tree Inn owners hand you an envelope with a hand written letter from the Cullen Family explaining their absence and how their inn-keepers will take very good care of you. They also include a nice photo of the Cullen House for you to take home. The letter is signed by all members of the Cullen Family. This was a very nice touch and made the whole experience seem very real.
Outside the door of the Cullen House there is the above sign hanging on the porch. Every so often it is updated to let you know where the Cullen Family is at any given time. The weekend we were staying in Forks, Washington the Cullen Family were on a cross country trip visiting colleges with Bella. This is just another nice personal touch the Miller Tree Inn has added for all Twilight Saga fans’ benefit.
For all the Team Jacob fans the red rental cabin would be perfect for you. Jacob Black’s house is not right in the town of Forks but actually more towards La Push. Of course, where else would you expect to see Jacob’s house? Jacob’s old motorcycle sits out front for photo opportunities and they welcome visitors even if you aren’t staying overnight. From what I could tell on the outside and photos online, it looks nice and would complete the Twilight Saga experience for all the Jacob lovers out there!
