Pressure Cooker Chili Recipe

|

Thanks to Mealthy for sending me this Multipot for review.

Our family loves making chili in the fall. Homemade chili is one of our favorite dinner recipes that we add to our meal plan regularly. The only downside of making chili at home is the amount of time it takes. That is why I was extremely pleased to try our new Mealthy Multipot and make this amazing pressure cooker chili recipe in less than an hour – prep time and all!

If you have used a pressure cooker to prepare dinner before, then you understand how amazing it is. You can cook a delicious meal at lightning fast speed without losing any flavor. I have always loved using a pressure cooker but this Mealthy Multipot really took it up a notch. I love how sturdy and thick the stainless steel pot is. I was very impressed with all the cooking options. It takes the guesswork out of trying new recipes.

There is a chili option right on the front of the Mealthy Multipot which makes cooking pressure cooker chili a cinch.

After adding all of your homemade chili ingredients to your Multipot, you can push the button and let it run or you can adjust the time settings. I slightly adjusted ours. I cooked our chili for 28 minutes in the Mealthy Multipot on the high-pressure chili setting.

We used ground turkey in our chili, but feel free to substitute for ground beef. We used two kinds of beans based on our preference. This chili recipe is not too spicy, our kids loved it so do not let the fresh diced jalapenos scare you. It has excellent flavor while staying mild in heat. You can increase this by adding more chili powder than what my recipe calls for.

What is your favorite chili topping? I love adding shredded cheese and sour cream to mine! My husband hates sour cream but I cannot imagine chili without it.

  1. My favorite fall recipe is apple crisp. I’m a sucker for apples. Soooooo good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Then my second would be veggie soup.

  2. I have a potato leek soup recipe that I would love to try with this. Perfect with crusty bread on a cooler fall night!

  3. I like making soups like Tomato Beef and Chicken Noodle Soup which is perfect for a cold day and great for leftovers during a busy week.

  4. I love to make “spaghetti” with spaghetti squash and meat sauce. It’s the greatest healthy comfort-food on chilly fall evenings.
