Pressure Cooker Chili Recipe
Thanks to Mealthy for sending me this Multipot for review.
Our family loves making chili in the fall. Homemade chili is one of our favorite dinner recipes that we add to our meal plan regularly. The only downside of making chili at home is the amount of time it takes. That is why I was extremely pleased to try our new Mealthy Multipot and make this amazing pressure cooker chili recipe in less than an hour – prep time and all!
If you have used a pressure cooker to prepare dinner before, then you understand how amazing it is. You can cook a delicious meal at lightning fast speed without losing any flavor. I have always loved using a pressure cooker but this Mealthy Multipot really took it up a notch. I love how sturdy and thick the stainless steel pot is. I was very impressed with all the cooking options. It takes the guesswork out of trying new recipes.
There is a chili option right on the front of the Mealthy Multipot which makes cooking pressure cooker chili a cinch.
After adding all of your homemade chili ingredients to your Multipot, you can push the button and let it run or you can adjust the time settings. I slightly adjusted ours. I cooked our chili for 28 minutes in the Mealthy Multipot on the high-pressure chili setting.
We used ground turkey in our chili, but feel free to substitute for ground beef. We used two kinds of beans based on our preference. This chili recipe is not too spicy, our kids loved it so do not let the fresh diced jalapenos scare you. It has excellent flavor while staying mild in heat. You can increase this by adding more chili powder than what my recipe calls for.
You can print the full pressure cooker chili recipe below.
What is your favorite chili topping? I love adding shredded cheese and sour cream to mine! My husband hates sour cream but I cannot imagine chili without it.
Pressure Cooker Chili Recipe
Pressure Cooker Chili

Ingredients
- 1 red onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 2 lbs ground turkey
- 15 oz red kidney beans
- 15 oz ranch style beans
- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 15 oz diced tomatoes
- 2 jalapeños
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Dice your onion and bell pepper, saute on the stovetop or inside your pressure cooker until onions are translucent.
- Mince and add your garlic cloves to your pan along with your chili powder, ground cumin, and dried oregano. Let seasoning cook for one minute.
- Add ground turkey to your pan and brown your meat. This step can also be done in your pressure cooker.
- If you used your stovetop to brown your meat, now add your seasoned meat to your pressure cooker.
- Drain and rinse your red kidney beans, add to your pot.
- Pour your ranch style beans into your pot, with juice.
- Drain your diced tomatoes and add to your pressure cooker. Pour your tomato sauce on top.
- Dice your jalapenos and put on top of your chili ingredients along with your salt, pepper, and brown sugar.
- Cook on high pressure for 28 minutes.
- Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream. Enjoy!
