Nail Art with Hot Designs

|

I was recently given the opportunity to test out some of the Hot Designs nail art pens.  I instantly went to Instagram and started searching the hashtag #nailart – incase you didn’t know, there are over 11 million posts under this hashtag – prepare to spend hours!

I found several designs I wanted to try and several how-to videos that made it look fairly easy.

When testing out the Hot Designs nail pens the polish came out pretty thick. I tried several designs on my nails and my daughter played around with it on my twelve-year-old. I suggest practicing on paper or cardboard first. That way you can get a feel for how much you need to squeeze out of the pen at a time and how fast you can move when drawing a line.

Some of my favorite designs were the simple flowers for young girls, the anchor which we made it blue and silver and painting the tips a different color than the bed of the nail. We mixed turquoise and pink together a lot.
