I love food dips. From queso to most salad dressings, I love dipping my food. That’s probably why nachos are one of my favorite dishes. When I was a kid I used to dip my french fries in my ice cream! Yum. I also have a love for hosting my family and friends. I combined my two loves to put together this fun Loaded French Fry Bar. It is no surprise that I love loaded french fries.
Loaded French Fry Bar
First, you need the best fries for your loaded french fry bar. Which style of fries are your favorite? I love me some thin cut fries, while my kids love the seasoned curly fries and my husband is a fan of waffle fries. But really, can you ever go wrong with french fries?
For my French Fry Bar I wanted to offer a variety of styles of fries. That made McCain® fries my go-to. They have a variety of options that everyone loves.

I found the McCain® fries we love at our local Walmart in the middle freezer bin section.
McCain products are made with real potatoes that are perfect to pair with your choice of toppings. They make the perfect food to serve on your party bar. This French Fry Bar was fun to put together and yummy to enjoy.
You can prepare your McCain® Craft Beer Battered Thin Cut Fries three-ways per the instructions on the bag. I decided to bake our fries in the oven. They turned out golden and perfectly crisp.
Now let’s talk toppings!
Loaded French Fries
The options for toppings on your French Fry Bar are endless. I love loaded french fries so I can get a little crazy with my toppings. For this party food bar I went with queso, ground sausage, shredded cheese, sliced black olives, and avocado ranch.
To keep your guests’ fingers out of the fry bowl place a set of party tongs for easy plating of the fries. You can serve your loaded french fries on a plate or in a bowl. If you are serving a younger crowd a bowl may be less messy.
Now have fun adding all your favorite toppings. By placing each loaded french fries toppings in its own bowl, your guests can select which toppings they love most.
What is your favorite french fry topping?

Question: If looking to serve fries at a birthday party using this set-up, how do you recommend keeping the fries warm? My crowd will be 50+ people.
I would suggest using the food warmers that you can purchase at Walmart that are either electric or use a candle underneath to keep the platter warm. Another great option is to put the fries in a slow-cooker on the ‘keep warm’ setting after baking in the oven.
