There are a lot of famous recipes from the Harry Potter franchise like the birthday cake that says Happee Birthdae Harry but these are perfect for any upcoming Harry Potter themed parties or a Fantastic Beasts viewing party before the big release.

How to Make Butterbeer Shots

These butterbeer shots are so simple to make – with only two main ingredients and two optional toppings, the adult Harry Potter fans will be in love. You can use this same recipe to make larger drinks, just keep the proportions the same when adding Cream Soda and your liquor.

Use Cream Soda to make Butterbeer

To make the Butterbeer flavor, we used Butterscotch Schnapps. These shots are nice and sweet! The perfect after dinner dessert drink.

To make them look even prettier and give that extra creamy taste – add some whipped cream to the top. Yum!

Now for the best part, your final touch is drizzling some butterscotch topping to your Butterbeer Shots. You can find this topping near the ice cream at your local grocery store.

Harry Potter Butterbeer Shots

Ingredients

  • 1 part Butterscotch Schnapps
  • 2 parts Cream Soda
  • Whipped Cream
  • Butterscotch Topping

Instructions

  1. Fill shot glass a quarter of a way with the Butterscotch Schnapps. 
  2. Fill the rest of the shot glass with cream soda.
  3. Top with whipped cream and drizzle butterscotch topping on top.
