- Confetti – optional
- Ribbon for Hanging
- Yellow Paint
- Red Paint Pen
DIY Disney Castle Christmas Ornament
You do not need to be artistic to draw this magical castle. Remind the kids to use their shapes when drawing. View it as adding rectangles and triangles together. It’s really that simple!
Start by drawing a small dome shape, this will be your guide for drawing your castle. I recommend looking up a picture of the castle to follow along or using this ornament photo as your guide.
Go from side to side drawing your lines and coloring in to make rectangles. Make sure that each side is matching and do your best!
If you cannot draw the castle based on copying the ornament photo, you could also print out a picture of the castle and cut out the pieces to create your very own stencil.
You can choose to leave just a clear ornament with the castle, which I think looks nice, or you can choose to fill it with sparkling confetti.
Finish it off with a sparkling ribbon and add some Disney magic to your tree!
DIY Snow White Christmas Ornament
You will begin by filling your ornament with yellow paint. Pour a good amount of paint into the glass ornament and swirl it around until the surface is completely covered.
Then place your ornament upside down over a cup to allow the excess paint to drip out. This may take up to a few hours, I would personally recommend leaving it to dry overnight.
Once completely dry, you can replace the ornament cap and begin the outer décor.
First, take your blue paint pen and make a semi-circle on each side of the ornament. This will make your ornament look like Snow White’s dress, blue on the top and yellow on the bottom.
Now, take your red paint pen and draw three red teardrop shapes on each side of the ornament.
Allow the paint on the outside to dry and top it off with a red ribbon for hanging that will represent Snow White’s red headband.
