It is no secret that our family is a fan of football and that I love SNICKERS®.  When watching my teenage son play ball I always like to pack drinks and snacks.  You never know how long you’ll be at the field.  To get into the football game spirit, I put together these DIY Football Candy Bar Wraps with a free printable template you can download below!

How do you get into the spirit of the game?

DIY Football Candy Bar Wraps Supplies

• Cardstock Paper
• Printer
• Free download printable template
• Double-sided Tape
• SNICKERS® Candy Bars

I recommend printing the football sayings on card-stock paper, however any paper will work. You can purchase the regular SNICKERS® bars or the SNICKERS® Crisper.

I found the SNICKERS® candy bars with football sayings at my local CVS near the checkout counter.  There were several football terms to select from.  These make perfect treats on football game day.

I went with Tackled and Sacked as my choice.  But I thought Incomplete was pretty funny too.  Kind of like how you feel incomplete until you’ve eaten your SNICKERS®.

The free printable that I created for you to use is made to print on an 8.5×11 sheet of paper.  You will want to cut it directly down the center and across the middle.  Leaving enough extra space for wrapping your candy bar.

I used my custom candy bar wrappers on the SNICKERS® Crisper since the regular SNICKERS® bars had football terms already on them.  This way all my snacks went with the football theme.  You can wrap your candy bars for a football party or to hand out to the athletes after the game.

First, measure where you want the wrap to line up on your candy bar.  You will need to slightly fold it around the bar.  I recommend using double-sided tape on the edges to hold it into place.

You can tape one side at a time or wrap it around to only tape the top, whichever works best for you.

Now you are ready for a Chocolate Touchdown!
