The Vampire Diaries Season 2 – Favorite Couples
T and I love The Vampire Diaries! We have seen every single episode to date. T owns Season 1 and we can’t wait to get Season 2 on DVD. Like with every good drama, The Vampire Diaries has good relationships and bad ones. Every fan has their favorite characters and their most adored couples. Of course there is also the characters you secretly wish would date on the show.
During Season 2 of The Vampire Diaries I was most excited to see Bonnie and Jeremy end up together. With Bonnie being Elena’s best friend and Jeremy, her brother, I think they made a good couple. I loved watching it all play out and I found it interesting how they wrote Jeremy’s protectiveness of Bonnie into the plot even though he was younger. That added the perfect touch if you ask me.
The one couple I believe was played out during Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2 was Caroline and Matt. I was happy to see them go their separate ways. With that being said the couple I’m most looking forward to seeing in Season 3 is Caroline and Tyler.
It’s intriguing to see the ironic love twist The Vampire Diaries is taking between the two characters. With Caroline being a vampire and Tyler being a werewolf, sworn enemies, I think not only would it ruffle feathers but would make the best addition to the drama. The characters display feelings and emotions towards one another well beyond just lust. They would not only make a passionate couple but with their history and the fact they truly cared about each other during their ‘human days‘ I think it would mesh well. Plus the excitement of the relationship being dangerous will keep fans on edge.
Do you watch The Vampire Diaries? If so who is your favorite couple? If not, do you plan to try and jump on board in time to start Season 3?
