I was recently introduced to Little Lotus and instantly fell in love with their mission. The goal is to help one million babies with their unique swaddle that regulates body temperature which keeps newborns warm, especially preemies. After reaching 150,000 babies with the Embrace Infant Warmer in developing countries, Little Lotus launched a product here in the US to further their reach. With a model similar to that of TOMS, buy one give one – their goal to reach one million could easily be accomplished.
The fact the swaddle regulates body temperature to prevent your baby from getting too cold or too hot is not the only great thing. The Little Lotus is also easy to put on and take off which makes diaper changing a breeze. You don’t even have to hassle with waking them up at night, simply unzip the bottom.

Little Lotus

Touch Our Future
An art installation by renowned artist, Drue Kataoka in collaboration with Embrace Innovations, to raise awareness about infant mortality. It is a collection of hand traces of mothers and babies from all over the world, in many countries where infant mortality rates is rampant.
A large number of leaders & activists have also participated in the artwork, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, 17 Nobel Peace Prize laureates / organizations, Chelsea Clinton, Christy Turlington, Stella McCartney, Heidi Klum, Arianna Huffington, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and many more. Ten nonprofit organizations combating infant mortality are featured on the site.
