This is Where I Leave You – In Theaters September 19th
This is Where I Leave You opens in theaters next week, September 19th. Jason Bateman, Tina Fey and Jane Fonda are some of my favorite comedic actors/actresses. The whole lineup for this movie is a nice one. I’m eager to see all these well versed and talented actors come together.
When their father passes away, four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week, along with their over-sharing mother and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens. Confronting their history and the frayed states of their relationships among the people who know and love them best, they ultimately reconnect in hysterical and emotionally affecting ways amid the chaos, humor, heartache and redemption that only families can provide—driving us insane even as they remind us of our truest, and often best, selves.
This Is Where I Leave You stars Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Adam Driver, Rose Byrne, Corey Stoll, Kathryn Hahn, Connie Britton, Timothy Olyphant, Dax Shepard and Jane Fonda
Based on the novel “This Is Where I Leave You” by Jonathan Tropper
Have you seen the trailer yet? I think my favorite part is when the mother tells all her grown children they are grounded at her home for days. That is something I could see myself doing if there ever comes a time that my adult children haven’t visited for a long period of time.

Do you read a novel before heading to the theater to see the movie?
I may have to read this novel first then the film when out on DVD. Sounds like something I would enjoy!
I would like to see the movie first! Seems like our family at times too!
