Summer Nights Come to Life During Electric Ocean at SeaWorld
Thanks to our friends at SeaWorld San Antonio for hosting our family, we were able to visit the new night shows for Electric Ocean at SeaWorld. From now until August 12th, SeaWorld has launched their new Electric Ocean celebration. They light up the night with all new entertainment and fireworks!
SeaWorld Chill Out – 50 Degree Cool Down Club
We had a great time dancing and listening to the DJ play music at the new Cool Down club at SeaWorld. This family-friendly dance room is a cold 50º inside! It is the perfect place to visit to cool down after walking around in the Texas heat all day.
You can find SeaWorld workers dressed in awesome Electric Ocean costumes interacting with the kids. They make it a fun experience and a relaxing one for parents.
The bar inside Cool Down offers frozen treats, for adults and kids. Everything glows in the black lights and is a new experience to SeaWorld. You can also purchase glow merchandise to wear at Cool Down and throughout the park to celebrate Electric Ocean.
With summer upon us, SeaWorld brought back one of the fan favorites – Shamu’s Celebration Light Up the Night.
Shamu’s Celebration Light Up the Night Show
You can head over to see this show at 8:15 pm. It is the last Shamu show of the night, so get there early to snag a seat. It fills up quickly.
Electric Ocean at SeaWorld
At 6:00 pm the entire park transforms into Electric Ocean, however, it is once the sun goes down that you notice the change. Electric Ocean lights up the night, literally. Not just with fireworks but around the whole park. The trees glow from neon colored lights and you’ll see cool glowing sea life decor hanging from the branches.
The outdoor stage is a sight to see as well. The Electric Ocean Party Zone is the place to be. This is fun for all ages. They host a dance party right in the park. With Latin beats, glow zones, and an interactive atmosphere, you are sure to have a blast.
HydroPower: Xtreme FX
If you haven’t seen the HydroPower: Xtreme FX show, you need to. This high-speed ski stunt show was pretty impressive. They were moving so fast we couldn’t capture a photo. The man even went barefoot without actual skis!
You’ll see them flip through the air, go over ramps, and barely avoid colliding with one another. This show will have you on the edge of your seat, but one of the best parts of all is the live band. The live band played music with great tunes that you are sure to sing along with and enjoy.
You will want to get to this show early and get the best seats possible. It fills quickly and the fireworks start immediately afterward. You can see the fireworks from the stands of the ski show.
IgNite Fireworks Show
The new fireworks show lasted a long time. We were very impressed. I expected it to end a few different times yet it kept going. There are several areas you can sit to see the firework show. The SeaWorld daily map has areas highlighted to show you where to go. We watched from the stands of the ski show but we saw several people sitting on the ground around the pond, which was a great view.
If you are looking for some family fun in San Antonio this summer, I recommend you take a stop in at SeaWorld. The Electric Ocean at SeaWorld would also make a great date night for adults of all ages.
Pin for Later:
My kids love going to aquariums, and this looks fascinating. I wish we could make a trip to Texas this summer, just for that! But, it is not possible at the moment. Do you know if this is a traveling or reoccurring exhibit at Sea World?
