As you know, our family is filled with gamers. We love finding games that everyone can enjoy together. I recommended the Starlink: Battle for Atlas game in our holiday gift guide for gamers this season and now I wanted to share a little more in details about it.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an open-world space saga that features modular toy technology that allows players to assemble and customize real-world physical starships, link the starships to their game controller, and launch into an epic adventure across the Atlas star system, either in single player or with a friend in two-player split-screen local co-op.

The Starlink: Battle for Atlas Starter Pack comes with everything you need to get playing. You will have one starship that you can connect to your Xbox One remote, a pilot and several weapons to select from. Once you launch the game you will set up your starship and weapons of choice. As you connect these items to your remote, they will come to life on your game screen.

My favorite part of this game is the creative freedom you have with playing. It takes screentime game playing and mixes with real toys.

By purchasing extra starships, pilots and weapons kits, your options are endless. They are not required but it makes the creative play more fun. If your child already has the game, the weapons kit and add-on toys make great gifts to extend the excitement.

Noah is 12-years-old and really enjoys this game. I was quite impressed with the graphics and look forward to playing with him more.

As you add each new modular component and pilot attached to the starship, it directly affects the course of your battle in a meaningful way. The graphics are somewhere between appearing like real-life images and animation. It makes it a great game for all ages. Not too young for families to enjoy together.
