School started on Monday and I’m always sad to see summer go. This school season is a little extra emotional than last since it is the first year that T did not head off to school with her siblings. Since she graduated the first of June, her days of grade school are over.
This week Gabby started her first year of high school. She’s a freshman now! I cannot believe how much she has grown.
While much has changed, many things have stayed the same. Gabby still loves to listen to music, color with gel pens and watch Netflix. Although she still loves Teen Wolf, she has started watching all the seasons of Pretty Little Liars. She spent her summer riding water slides and swimming.
We are counting down the days to cooler weather here in Texas so we can get back to our family bike rides. Over the last year Gabby has gotten so much better at riding her bike. She now owns all the Harry Potter books and is reading them one by one.
Noah hit a growth spurt this year. He now comes up to my nose! I swear it was just in March that we went on our cruise and he barely reached my chin. He is growing so quickly that his shoe size has changed twice in three months.
He loves spending as many days at Hawaiian Falls during school break as he can and each summer I get jealous of his natural tan. We enjoy taking family bike rides together and going on weekend camping trips. He is still my little travel bug and would go on a cruise each week if he was able. He saved all his Christmas money, birthday money and even some money he earned by doing chores both at home and at his grandparents’ house to buy himself an Xbox One. Noah loves wearing Under Armour and Nike – specifically soccer shorts.
