Preserving Old Memories at Sam’s Club
YesVideo is located in many retailers including Sam’s Club. Between my parents and I we have dozens of home movies on outdated media. Actually we have several dozen VHS tapes alone not counting the dozens of 8mm tapes. The old photos we need to have digitize are endless in albums and countless drawers and boxes.
I asked my mom to go through some old home movies on a hunt for my old dance videos and any other family memories captured from when I was younger. My goal was to find some home videos with me being as young as possible.

As my mom and dad were watching some of the old VHS tapes to find the best ones to transfer to DVD they sent me photos of the video clips. They actually took photos of their TV with their iPhone. I so wish I was there since fortunately they still own a VCR which is something that has been missing from my home for years.

This was taken at my 3rd birthday party. That’s my mom and I!

From left to right in the photo is my oldest sister, myself, my grandfather and my mom’s friend’s daughter.
My grandfather passed away when I was only 15 years old. He never had the chance to meet any of my children so I can not wait to get my DVDs back from YesVideo so my kids can see what he was like.
It’s amazing what old memories my mom has of me that I cannot even remember. I know I will be amazed to see our home movies and be able to share them with my family members and friends.

My dad looks so young in this photo from 1985.
What old memories do you need to preserve? What’s the oldest home movie you have?
Full Disclosure: I’m an ambassador for YesVideo. All opinions are 100% mine and this is my real experience.
The oldest home video I have is the one I had YesVideo transfer from VHS to DVD, it is from the years I was in 4/5 grade so I think those are the oldest memories I have captured honestly.
