Noah’s First TeeBall Season is Complete – Trophy Accepted

Noah received his teeball trophy last night.  He is so proud of that trophy and I am so proud of him!  Watching him come out of his shell this past year has truly been amazing.

He is Mr. Talksalot at home, literally he’s my narrator of life.  Get him in public, or put him on the spot and he becomes silent.  Starting Pre-K worked wonders on him this year also.  At first he wouldn’t even answer the teacher’s questions and wouldn’t communicate with any of the other children.  He would nod his answers and the teacher even understood what different blinks of the eyes meant.  Seriously.

He is the center of the attention at home but although he has come out of his shell a lot over the past year I can’t say he is the center of attention at school or teeball.  When he first started playing teeball I was so nervous he wouldn’t do it.  He proved me wrong.  He wasn’t out on the field showing off how great he was but he sure did run to those bases after hitting the ball and he did great batting and even working out field.  He loved it from the beginning.

I’m so sad to see his first teeball season end.  I still can’t believe he is going to be five years old next month.  One month exactly from today.  It’s very difficult for me to think about since he is my last baby.

Noah was so excited to get his trophy and asked me if he kept playing baseball if he would get more trophies.  He told his dad he got a trophy for being awesome and apparently everyone did awesome because everyone got a trophy.

Do your children play sports?

  1. Those are some great pics. My son finished teeball last weekend. A few days later he kept asking me are we going to teeball today. I know for my son playing teeball left an impact on him. Now getting ready for next season.
