Noah’s First Season in TeeBall

Noah started teeball this season and has absolutely loved it.  Watching his team practice is the cutest ever.  He’s on a co-ed team with kids ages 3 to 4.  Most of them have never played before and watching them learn which direction to run to base and how to just hit the ball off the tee is priceless.

Noah has always enjoyed throwing the ball at home and playing baseball for years now.  Learning to use his glove correctly and pay attention to so many other players on the field at once is a challenge.  Knowing to catch the ball and either throw it home or run to base can get confusing for little ones when everyone seems to be going in different directions.  However Noah can throw the ball far and hard.  He’s been doing great.  I am so proud of him and the fact he has caught on so fast.

Noah usually acts shy around people he doesn’t know or if he is put on the spot.  His father and I feared he wouldn’t want to bat at the games because of the crowd.  He proved us wrong, which is awesome.  He has no issue going up to bat and runs straight to first base.  He runs fast around all the bases and I believe he’ll continue to play baseball for a while.

Do your kids play sports?  What age did they start?
