Knock Out The Fat With George Foreman

|

Today I officially started a new healthy living plan. That sounds much better than diet. I’ve joined the George Foreman Knock Out the Fact Weight Loss Challenge for the next 90 days along side 9 other bloggers to literally knock out the fat!

I will be cooking a minimum of 5 meals a week using my George Foreman, following a meal plan designated just for me by a dietitian and making it my goal to work out steadily each week. I also plan to document my success at least once a week in a blog post, share some healthy recipes I like and even show photos of my scale, gulp. You can also follow along with the conversation on Twitter by following hashtag #knockoutthefat.

The part I’m most looking forward to is learning how to eat healthier, meal plan the right way and the accountability of working out regularly. I’ve allowed myself to get sucked into being on the go constantly or working at a computer that I’ve fallen out of a good routine. That’s about to change!

To kick off the next 90 days I’m going to share with you my starting weight using my Wii Fit Plus and my body measurements that I took myself. Yes, I’m putting it all out there.

Height: 4’11
Weight: 106.5 lbs
Waist: 32.5″
Hips: 35″
Arms: 10.5″
Thighs: 20.5″

I honestly don’t even have a set weight goal. I just want to lose the fat inches and gain muscles. Ultimately I want to feel better by eating better and being more active. Of course the looking better is the fabulous part!

Full Disclosure: I am one of 10 Brand Ambassadors in the George Foreman Knock out the Fat Weight Loss Challenge. I was sent a George Foreman Grill for my participation in this challenge and will be compensated for my time at the end of the 90 day challenge. HOWEVER, ALL opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own.

    1. I’m excited also, Heather! It’s gonna be tough to stick to a strict meal plan all the time. It’s far from my comfort zone.

  1. that dinner looks yummy, congrats on being selected to be in the challenge, i just love your little mii so cute. I plan in getting a wii this summer.

  2. I have to admit that I’m jealous of your weight and BMI, but we all pick ourselves apart in one way or another. You’re off to a great start with both meals which I’d totally eat. Good luck on losing the inches (even though you don’t need to!).

    1. Okay okay, I’ll admit, I’m not over-weight per say. However the amount of inches that is just fat still hanging on from my C-section with Noah, almost 5 years ago… has got to go! Plus in the past year I’ve easily put on nearly 10 pounds and for a person petite like me that’s a lot, especially for only 4’11. You know, you’re a shorty like me. A few pounds goes a long way. 😉
