It is no secret that our family loves to travel. Most of our trips land us at the beach. Whether we are taking a cruise or simply renting a condo ocean-side, we love visiting the sea and sand. I will admit when I first heard about this new Schick Intuition razor I was excited to try it but a bit skeptical. I am the type of person that lathers my legs with shaving cream, even though I know it’s not the best way to shave. I could not imagine this little coconut milk and almond oil bar around the razor would do much. I was pleasantly surprised!
I love it. While shaving my legs I can feel the almond oil and coconut milk, it is almost like a silky layer. Although the built-in shaving cream produces suds, there is not a thick lather like your traditional shaving cream that you would spray on. Which is a good thing! A thick layer of shaving cream, the kind where you cannot see your leg underneath – clogs up your razor and makes it dull faster, preventing you from getting a close shave.

Homemade Sunscreen Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Zinc Oxide
- 2 Tablespoons Shea Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
- 20 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
Instructions
- Combine coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E in a large mason jar.
- Fill a saucepan with a couple of inches of water and place over medium heat.
- Loosely cover your mason jar with a lid and place in the pan of water.
- As your mason jar heats up, your ingredients will melt.
- As your coconut oil is melting, continue to stir to mix.
- When all of your ingredients are fully melted, add in your zinc oxide and stir slowly.
- Add in your lavender essential oil drops and mix well.
- Store in a small glass jar or mason jar and use before heading out into the sun.
