Now that the kids are out of school for the summer it is even more important to keep healthy snacks in the house. Although I work out of the home, being available to prepare a healthy snack every couple of hours for the kids is not always doable. By having junk-free snack options they can easily grab on their own without me worrying about what they are consuming is imperative… plus, guilt-free.
We stay busy during the summer. My work hours fluctuate so we can stay active. When I’m in the office the kids are busy with their own hobbies and activities and when I’m not, we are headed to the pool or park. As soon as I turn off the computer I want to run out the door instead of preparing snacks to take. Having all-natural options in the pantry to grab and go is nice. I want to dedicate all my extra time to the kids when they are home. Making family memories during the summer is the most important time of the year for me. I always dread when they go back to school.
Gabby is the number one snack eater in our home. She seems to be the child that is always saying “I’m hungry”. She would rather eat several small meals all day than only eat three times. Whereas my other kids are not like this and I sometimes forget to eat a meal. Preparing more than three meals is not feasible and trying to please multiple kids in the home on different schedules, well… I’m not a short-order chef. When our Love With Food box arrived, I felt confident that Gabby could select any of the organic and healthy snacks from the box to eat at any time. A burden was lifted.
Noah is very active. He loves to play outside but he gets hot quick. His go-to snack is something cool. When he saw the Coconut + Pink Guava Fruit Ice from Smooze, he had to try it. Again, another easy to grab snack that he can eat without me feeling guilty or worrying about what he is consuming.
Love With Food is a monthly subscription service where you receive healthy snacks direct to your door. Plus, for each box ordered they will donate a meal to a hungry child in America. On the larger boxes they donate two meals. They even have a gluten-free subscription, however the tasting box that we received still had several items in it that were naturally free of gluten.
When you order more snacks from the website, they donate a portion of those proceeds to feed the hungry in America as well. Their community outreach is not just with the monthly subscriptions.

Gluten-Free Love With Food Subscription Box
I just finished off the bag of Quinoa Puffs – which were delicious. I plan to try the tamale pie this week! I was very impressed with the gluten-free options.

Tasting box and gluten-free box comparison
In this photo you can see the size comparison between the tasting box of snacks and the gluten-free box. The deluxe box is also the same size as the gluten-free. So double the size with double the snacks for not quite double the price.
All the monthly subscriptions come with free shipping!
