Happy 2nd Birthday to My Niece

We had a great family evening tonight at the park for my niece’s 2nd birthday. The kids had so much fun playing with all their cousins.  Doesn’t she make the most adorable birthday girl?

All the kids took turn sliding down the big slides.  At first I took my two younger nieces down the smaller slide.  Apparently I have forgotten what it is like to have a two year old.  They were ready to climb to the top of the playground, which kept making me extremely nervous.  I guess I was trying too hard to baby them.

I have to admit, I sure miss having a little girl.  Their clothes and hair bows are just so darn cute!  I want one to play dress up with.  I keep asking my sister if I can take her’s home but she just won’t let me keep her.  Of course Noah won’t allow it either.  He is still the baby in this household and wants to remain that way no matter his age.  He is a momma’s boy, no doubt.

Noah had such a great time climbing the rock wall on the playground.  Won’t be long before he is asking me to let him climb the tall rock wall at the YMCA local to us.  They grow up way too fast.

The evening wasn’t over without some cake.  She dipped right in after her candles were blown out.  What kid doesn’t love icing?
