Granbury Tornado Relief Benefit Concert
This season the tornadoes have caused quite a bit of damage in many areas. Granbury, Texas is close to home for me in more ways than distance. My son’s family on his father’s side lives in Granbury. When the tornado hit their town they were extremely blessed to make it out without serious injury, unfortunately I can’t say the same about their home or vehicles.
Noah’s great-grandparents live right on Lake Granbury and were lucky to not get hit by the tornado. His grandparents’ block in the neighborhood did get hit pretty hard. His grandma witnessed their cat fly into the air and miraculously survive. Their vehicles were flipped upside down, tree came through the roof of their home, windows were shattered and their garage was leveled. They are living in a hotel until things settle. Thank God they have their lives and family which matters the most.
This Saturday, June 1st there is a benefit concert being hosted on Lake Granbury at The Dock. I encourage everyone that lives local to head out and show your support. Granbury is a nice little town and the devastation those people are facing is heart-breaking. The concert will start at 2pm and go until 11pm. The Dock is also donating 10% of their sales along with all donations from customers and the cover charge to Mission Granbury.
