Giving the gift of memories is priceless. Christmas is the time that we reflect on the past year and reminisce on some of our most special moments. Did you know that out of all your senses, the sense of smell is the most powerful? A scent or fragrance can trigger a memory or remind you of a loved one.

My husband and I have a love for the ocean. We love to take cruises and sit out on the deck listening to the waves. Our love for the open water led us to get married on the beach. It has always been a dream of mine and we made it come true in June 2014. We have taken our children on several Disney Cruises and even spent our honeymoon cruising for seven nights.

When it came to selecting a fragrance gift set from Walgreens to gift him this holiday season, the choice was simple.

The Nautica Blue gift set made sense. It fits him and our relationship perfectly.

We have many fond memories made at the beach. Each visit our entire family picks up sea shells. This last summer we spent several days at Myrtle Beach. We ventured down by 7:00am from our condo just to be one of the first people to walk the ocean front and see what had washed in the night before.

Taking some of the sea shells from our travels and adding them to a clear glass ornament is another way I was able to preserve our memories. I have always referred to Christmas ornaments as Memories on Branches. Each of our ornaments represents something. Now some of our treasures are locked inside this one.
