Best Fiends – It’s Seriously Addicting
This story is brought to you by Acorn and Seriously.
I was recently introduced to a new game – Best Fiends. I play it on my iPhone. My son is the main gamer in our family, however I have a few favorites I like to play. I enjoy playing games to unwind. I’m the type of person that when I lay down at night my mind races with all the things I need to do the next day. By playing a game on my phone I am able to shut that all out and relax. My mind just ventures to the game I’m playing. It’s the perfect way to clear my head.

How do you unwind after a busy day?
I also play while waiting at a doctor office or any other time I have a few minutes to myself. I find entertaining…and addicting.
You can also earn free coins and other items to use during the game by opting to watch an ad. I have done this a few times. It helps put money back in the pocket of the developer – which I don’t mind since I enjoy playing a game they invested time creating. Plus, I love the bonus items – it benefits my game.
The Fiends are little insects that you grow. The larger you grow them the higher their powers are. They work as a team to help you conquer a level. The more powerful your team members are the easier it is to defeat the slugs. As you find new teammates you are able to switch them out on various levels. Since I am currently on level 52 I am still playing with the same team. My second team is not large enough to play against the slugs. Each time I think I have a favorite Fiend I start to like another one a little more. My Fiends are on level 7 and 8. From what I see in the game, they can increase to level 20. So I have a ways to grow.

I connected the Best Fiends iPhone app with my Facebook so I could see my friends on it. I do not post to my wall or invite them to do anything. It simply shows me what level they are on. I may be known to tease one of my friends on Twitter when I pass her by. Unfortunately, she is way ahead of me right now. So it is my own little challenge to catch up.
I recommend you give a try. All ages can play too!
