Fat Daddy’s Newly Renovated Patio & Live Summer Entertainment
I attended a complimentary event with DFW Bloggers at Fat Daddy’s in Mansfield as part of their media guests.
Fat Daddy’s in Mansfield, TX recently renovated their patio. They extended it out quite a bit and the expansion is so beautifully done. For their Independence Day celebration they decorated not only the inside of the sports grill but also their outdoor seating area.
In Texas it can get pretty hot during the summer months. Fat Daddy’s truly took that into consideration when building their patio. It is not only nicely shaded, there are numerous fans to keep the air circulated.
Doesn’t the wood work and beams look stunning? I also love the stone wall. However, my favorite part of the patio is the comfy furniture.
On each end of the new patio they have 80″ TV screens that they broadcast sporting games and other entertainment for their customers.
Every night they have something different going on. Poker tournaments, karaoke night, live bands, and more. The summer lineup is limitless. I mean check out what’s happening just during July…

Our dinner was so delicious. Almost everyone got stuffed on the appetizers. I wasn’t even able to eat the main course. I couldn’t get enough of the bacon wrapped shrimp and chicken bites stuffed with jalapenos. Most sports bars and patio grills have food that tastes like you are eating at a bar. Fat Daddy’s served food that was better than most chain restaurants.
One of the other bloggers in attendance ordered a brownie fudge sundae and it was huge! This is one dessert that made me regret being gluten-free because I wanted to dig into it. It was large enough to share.
I look forward to my next night out with Andrew without kids to see some live music at Fat Daddy’s. I enjoy relaxing outside on a patio spending time with my husband. At 9:30pm Fat Daddy’s turns into an adult only 21+ venue. Their indoor stage is very large for hosting concerts.
