Our family loves game night.  We try to play games at least once a week and host full game nights one weekend a month.  Usually game nights consist of a quick dinner setup and snacks so we can focus all of our time on the fun activities.  Game night is always our night off from cooking and thankfully Sam’s Club offers the perfect family combo for our family size.

Family Game Night

Some of our favorite family games are Disney Monopoly, The Game of Life and Trouble.  Plus, I can’t forget our favorite card game – Karma.  Even when we play the short version of Disney Monopoly we can spend three hours.  All of my kids want to negotiate and make deals among one another so the game never ends. Yet, they still ALWAYS want to play.  It’s awesome.  If we know we have a short night we have to tell them ahead of time no deals are allowed.

I love how fast it was for me to run to Sam’s Club and grab the Coke and Pizza Bundle.  I walked straight up to the food counter at the front of the club and placed my order for a meat lover pizza.  It took them about ten minutes to get it ready and I was out the door.  No need to even stand in the lines to check out.  Since this family combo is prepared at Sam’s Club you pay right at the food counter.

My husband loved how thick the crust was and said this pizza was some of the best he had eaten.  I’m glad the family was pleased and so was my wallet.

For only $13.98 we received one large pizza, cheese bread sticks, six large cookies and a 2-liter of Coke.  There were cookies left over after game night and the kids took them to school the next day.  The 16-inch pizza was more than enough to feed five people, especially since they had the cheesy bread as an appetizer.

This combo is also the perfect solution to rushed school nights or when my son has soccer practice.  Some evenings I just cannot find the time to cook.

Looking for a fun game to play with your kids on the next pizza night?  We love playing Guess Who Am I!  The game can get silly and is perfect for all ages.

There are the favorite Disney characters in our home, however you can play with any characters of your choice.  Click the above image to download your own PDF and print on labels.  If you do not have labels you can simply cut out the rectangles and use a small piece of tape for adhesive.

The object of the game is to guess which character you are by asking other players specific yes or no questions.  Each player has a label with a character name and/or photo (for those little ones that cannot read yet), stuck to their back.  The first person to guess their character wins.  Or you can just keep playing until everyone guesses.

Question examples are:

  • Am I a Boy?
  • Am I a Princess?
  • Am I a Villain?

The game really gets the kids to think of unique questions for each Disney character.  You could keep it as simple or complex as you wish, depending on the age of the players.  Maybe only use characters from the same movie or widen the horizon to include non-animated characters too.

If you play the game, take photos and share with us on our Facebook page!  We would love to see.

  1. My boyfriend I are big Euro board game players, and as such don’t have a lot of patience anymore to play mainstream style board games with the nephews and niece (after a few plays they can get a little repetitive with no game elements other than random luck). Some we do like are Patchwork (spatial reasoning and changing money, making decisions on what to buy), Sequence for Kids (a bit like Connect Four but more skill involved), Blokus, Cheeky Monkey, and Zombie Dixe are also favorites!
