Enchant Christmas – Family Christmas Activity Near Dallas
I received a media ticket to this event to experience Paws N’ Claus night. All opinions 100% mine.
Isn’t this view beautiful? I love Christmas time. One of my favorite activities is driving around to see all the colorful lights on houses. It’s a tradition to load up in our family vehicle, cups of hot cocoa in hand and drive around various neighborhoods. Now, thanks to Enchant Christmas, we can sip on hot cocoa and walk through a maze of gorgeous lights! This family Christmas activity near Dallas is a must experience.
Enchant Christmas – Family Christmas Activity Near Dallas
This is the first year Enchant Christmas has moved inside the Globe Life Park. You can walk down and on to the field the Texas Rangers play on. The kids thought this was pretty neat.
Paws N’ Claus Event
We attended the Paws N’ Claus event where attendees had the option of paying an additional fee to bring one dog per adult. I love taking my sweet Lola girl with me places so we couldn’t pass up this special event hosted at Enchant Christmas. Throughout the light maze, there were vendors set up handing out samples to all the pups and owners. It was pretty neat.
Lola was so excited to see all the lights, sniff the other dogs, and get extra attention from all the kids at Enchant Christmas that she wouldn’t really even eat the treats. My bag ended up being filled with doggie bones by the end of the night. She has since devoured them!
The photo opportunities were endless. The place was truly beautiful. We had such a great time.
There are not many family events for the holidays where you can take your dog. There were dogs of all sizes and breeds at Paws N’ Claus night but they all seemed friendly and well behaved. Thankfully, I never saw any issues. Dogs were dressed in Christmas sweaters and some were wearing Christmas light collars that were adorable. I loved seeing them all.
If you want to make holiday plans with your family pup, mark your calendar for December 27th! We missed taking photos with Santa but the set up was perfect for family Christmas cards!

Christmas Light Maze
At the entrance of the light maze, everyone receives a postcard with scratch-off circles to go on a scavenger hunt through the maze. You are on a mission to find all the missing toys the sneaky elf hid. Each toy is shining brightly in colorful lights and make more gorgeous photo opportunities.
The toy train was fun for the kids to climb inside and walk through. Although these toys look huge, they are hard to find! You need to check around every corner through the maze.
Ice Skating at Enchant Christmas
You can rent skates to go through Enchant Christmas on their built-in ice rink. It goes around and under some of the Christmas lights! Such a cool experience. I saw some kids skating the whole time we were there, at least a couple of hours.
It is not often we can ice skate outdoors in Texas.
