Constructive Playthings – Bar B Q Play Set

| |

Noah loves playing pretend. He has a great imagination. Ever since he was walking his imagination would run wild. Gabby had a princess toy kitchen when Noah was one and he always wanted to play with her. When Constructive Playthings sent us the Classic Wood Kitchen Set Noah loved it and I was happy that he was playing with a white wooden kitchen set that wasn’t too girlie like the past pink princess one.

This month we were lucky enough to review the Bar B Q Play Set which comes with a toy grill and ice chest with play ice cubes and drinks. Out of all the toy food we’ve had over the years we’ve never had play ice cubes! Genius.

The grill has a Rotisserie chicken that you can turn manually while watching the red fire below cooking. There is also plenty of room on the grill to add other food at the same time. Noah threw on some hot dogs and corn on the cob. I do believe he also grilled some ice cubes and donuts that ended up on my plate he served me.

I love how compact the grill is so it doesn’t take up too much space in his room. It sits next to his kitchen nicely. It is also very light weight therefore easy for him to play outside when I am truly grilling and move back into his bedroom at the end of the day. It has wheels for him to easily roll through the house.

The one thing I wish was different is volume control. I’m not a mom who hates noise makers. We have band sets and plenty of musical toys. I’m the kind that will beat on the drum right along with him. However if he turns the noise on for the grill it’s loud. It’s the sound of grilling but I wish it could be turned down. Noah actually agrees with me that it’s a little too loud so he usually doesn’t use the sound during play which is just fine.

Constructive Playthings is giving me the chance to offer one lucky reader their very own Bar B Q Play Set.
