Colgate Optic White Toothbrush

I’m an obsessive brusher. I brush my teeth several times a day. When I had braces I bought my own dentist instruments – the silver picks. I would completely clean my braces front and back with them daily. I remember my dentist saying he never dealt with any so clean. I never used an electric toothbrush because I felt it didn’t clean enough. The electric toothbrush wasn’t strong enough brushing for me.

However, this isn’t always a good thing. Due to my obsessive brushing and not being as gentle in years past my gum has a receding place in it that will require surgery. My dentist has lectured me about gentle brushing and for the past several years I have been very careful and picky when it comes to my toothbrushes.

I was recently introduced to the Colgate Optic White toothbrush. Since Andrew and I had upcoming engagement photos I agreed to try out the new whitening brush. Anything that will help whiten your teeth without chemicals is a plus to me. Especially since it’s known for removing the plaque directly instead of just bleaching the stains.

I used to bleach my teeth often in the past and they became sensitive. Now I try to just use safe whitening toothpaste.

The Colgate Optic White toothbrush is amazing and I don’t say that likely. The outer bristles truly give me that clean feel. Although I use the soft brush the outer bristles are stronger to help clean away any plaque and massage your gums. I haven’t had a toothbrush leave my mouth feeling so clean with such little work from me in years – and I usually get a new toothbrush every two months. Like I said, I’m slightly obsessive.

At the end of the toothbrush there is an instant whitening gel stick. It’s perfect for spot whitening. If you travel or carry your toothbrush with you daily the bonus about this gel stick is you do not have to rinse it off. You just dab and go. Perfect for those photo days!
