Butterfinger Ice Cream Shake

With Halloween right around the corner all the yummy treats are stocked on the shelves at Walmart.  We love celebrating Halloween by taking the kids trick-or-treating as well as handing out candy at our home.  Instead of waiting until the kids bring home their candy for me to dig through, I’m mixing up some of my own delicious treats now.

What is your favorite Halloween candy?

This simple shake is so good and only takes a few minutes to make.  It combines a few of our family’s favorite things.  Chocolate milk, vanilla ice cream, Butterfinger candy bars and peanut butter!  What more could you ask for?

Ingredients

• Butterfingers
• Nesquick Chocolate Milk
• Peanut Butter
• Vanilla Ice Cream
• NESTLÉ Toll House Halloween Morsels – melted (optional)

To make your ice cream shake taste as delicious as your favorite candy bar, crush the Butterfinger into small pieces to mix throughout the shake.

Toss in all your ingredients into your blender.  Add some ice cream, one spoonful of peanut butter, about one fun size Butterfinger candy bar crushed and then pour in some chocolate Nesquik to top it off. {Nesquik come in a ten-pack in the perfect size for individual servings for your upcoming kid-friendly Halloween party}

No need to blend very long since most of your ingredients are soft.  You truly are just giving it a nice mix.

Once your ice cream shake is well blended, pour it into a cup to serve.  Sprinkle some of the crushed Butterfinger on top and if you really want to get fancy and festive, melt some of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Halloween Morsels to pour over the top.  They are orange colored!

While I was shopping at Walmart for some of our Halloween items, I grabbed something simple to make for dinner.  Each year when we prepare for Halloween we are so busy getting the kids dressed in their costumes and trying to rush out the door to go trick-or-treating we never have time to cook.
