I was invited by Disney Studios to attend Disney’s The Nutcracker World Premiere in LA.  Thanks to Disney I am sharing a glimpse into the newly released home entertainment + offering a giveaway below.

Did your family catch Disney’s The Nutcracker And The Four Realms in theaters over the holidays? Whether you fell in love with this modern day classic at the theaters or are eagerly awaiting to watch it at home during family movie night, Disney’s The Nutcracker And The Four Realms has officially released on Bluray, DVD, and digital HD today!

Mackenzie Foy is Clara, Keira Knightley is Sugar Plum Fairy, Jaden Fowara-Knight is Phillip, Eugenio Derbez is Hawthorne

No matter if the holidays are over, our family is still enjoying this visually stunning film. There is enough action to entertain my son and my daughter and I cannot get enough of the gorgeous costumes! I was lucky to see these costumes in person while in LA and they are so intricately detailed. It’s amazing!

If you missed it, read my full family-friendly Disney’s The Nutcracker movie review. Plus, I sat down to with Mackenzie Foy to discuss her role as Clara and chatted about bringing ballet to the big screen with Misty Copeland.

  1. Having not seen this yet (waiting to win my own!), I think back to what I enjoyed the most about watching it live at a local theater growing up – I like the ballerina mainly because I have no dance talent and thought not only was she beautiful and graceful – but poised with lots of talent and flexibility.

  2. The Peacock. While undeniably beautiful, she makes me so sad. She’s locked away in a gilded cage and only allowed out for command performances.

  3. I love the toy soldiers and Clara. I really don’t have a favorite. I just love ballet and would love to see this.

  4. My favorite character from the original production is Mother Ginger because she is so much fun. In the new production I love Misty Copeland character because she is so beautiful and graceful.
