By now you have seen that our family is filled with football fans. Specifically, we are fans of our local high school team and college. Our favorite way to watch the game is with family and friends at the field. Finding the best homegate snacks to share is always on my list.

How to Serve the Best Homegate Snacks
I love finding simple and quick snacks that people can grab and go. The easier it is to eat while watching the game at a homegating party, the better. Not only is finding the best homegate snacks important, but so is how to serve them.

Hillshire Farm® Lit’l Smokies® smoked sausages are one of our go-to options for all of our parties. I love shopping at Sam’s Club when planning parties to buy in bulk. I was able to pick up this large bag of Lit’l Smokies smoked sausages that was the perfect size. We toss these in a slow-cooker with BBQ sauce for our home parties.
However, serving them as a finger food that is easy to eat without mess can be tricky. For our homegate party I decided to cook these inside our cornbread muffins. The little sausages are already fully cooked meat, you simply have to heat them so they are ready to consume. By heating them in the oven while the muffins baked, they turned out perfect!

Who doesn’t love chicken wings? Don’t they just scream game day?! The Tyson Honey BBQ Boneless Chicken Wyngz were a huge hit among my family. I swear I think my husband could eat half the bag. With the hint of honey flavoring to add some sweetness and the traditional BBQ taste, no one could get enough.

Tyson® Boneless Chicken Wyngz were extremely easy to prepare. I followed the cooking instructions on the package.

Before your party you can transfer the muffins to a decorative basket if you prefer or serve them right out of this tin.
Add a few decorative football flag food picks to your muffins to really bring out the spirit.

I used the same type of disposable tin foil container with lid for the Tyson Boneless Chicken Wynz.

Some food options can be tricky when it comes to keeping them warm. I love using these little oil based tin heaters. They are perfect for using and tossing the container afterwards. On this specific size it was guaranteed to last two hours. When serving delicious food at parties, most of it is gobbled up before the flame goes out.
You will need a wire stand to hold the serving tray above the flame. You can also find these at Sam’s Club while stocking up on your party supplies.

I provided my guests with black and white stripped tins to eat their chicken wings. We offered ranch dressing for dipping. To keep it mess-free we poured the ranch in the bottom of the tin and used green plastic forks.

You can also use paper disposable snack cups. Whatever is easiest for you. We already had these adorable mini tins that we purchased because they look like referees. We use them for all of our football parties.
