Back to School Teacher Gift Basket
This post has been sponsored by School Specialty through KidzVuz.com. All opinions are my own.
School starts for my kids on August 16th. We are down to our last days of summer. My son is moving up to a new school and entering 5th grade. With a new school year, new school and new teachers comes new teacher gifts. We put together this teacher gift basket to show our appreciation for their time and dedication to our son’s future.
I love how easy it is to order supplies on SchoolSpecialty.com. They have more than your pencils and crayons. They even have a whole section dedicated to special needs! Having two children with special needs I spent quite a bit of time browsing through that category.
I love these file folder totes. You can put all your supplies into a nice teacher gift basket or give the gift of this tote instead. These totes come with lids that hold close with the handles and have slots on the inside to hang folders. They are so nice! I’m using one for our home office commander center and two for organizing my photography supplies.
To go with the file folder tote I included colorful folders in our teacher gift basket. The school keeps white paper on hand so this package of AstroBright paper was fun to include.
The lesson plan notebook is easy for a teacher to carry back and forth to class each day. There is a section for writing important notes, dates, birthdays and the annual plan. Then each week is broken down into daily planning.
This teacher’s clip and pin set is perfect for a busy classroom. Each container fits together with the next or you can separate them with their individual lids. If you only need to use the paperclips then you just unscrew that container from the rest. The narrow size makes it easy to store on a counter or desk without taking much space.
My favorite item in our teacher gift basket is the orange bendable light. It is magnetic on the back, has a string you can hang from your wrist and bends back and forth. There are two light settings, one being a strobe light. It is the perfect light for reading. It will be nice to hang in the reading nook area of the classroom for kids to use.
Our family has been loving the Buddha boards since first seeing them a few years ago. If you have never seen them before you paint with water on the board. It looks like you are painting on white paper and when it gets wet it turns black.
I keep this board in my office. There is something tranquil about painting on it. It is extremely relaxing and even my son enjoys playing with it.
These noise-canceling headphones are a lifesaver for a room filled with kids. Having a large family things can get a little distracting when you are trying to do homework. My son uses these to help him focus. They come in handy in the classroom as well. Especially, when trying to do work on a computer program while surrounded by 20 other kids.
I’m loving all the items found on SchoolSpecialty.com and am now excited about back to school!
What great ideas!
