7 Weeks Down – Knock Out The Fat With George Foreman
I was out of town all week long traveling to a social media conference in Asheville, NC. Unfortunately since I was gone for the entire week I wasn’t able to use the George Foreman to prepare my meals. I really missed grilling but the kids were able to use it with my mom while I was gone. I was so nervous about traveling and worried that my weight would go up for lack of easy healthy options to eat while on the road. Even though I sat at a conference during the day I did get out on the town every evening and did quite a bit of walking.
With it being summer I have been having fun going places with my kids which is keeping me active. We have already made two trips to indoor bounce house play areas where I climbed, jumped and slid down slides with the kids. You’d be surprised at how worn out I was after hours of running around. A bounce house is a good work out!
I’m back down to 104 lbs. Which is great news considering I had gained half a pound last week. It feels good to be back down, especially with traveling all week. I slipped a few times while traveling and had foods that were not on my healthy eating list, however I did make several healthy food choices and thought it through before ordering or eating. The conference served healthy options during the day for our lunch which was great.
The main reason I joined the program wasn’t because I felt I needed to lose a lot of weight but more because I felt unhealthy. The kids and I were not eating correctly and I just felt icky all over. Learning to eat healthier and staying focused has made a big difference for our family. I’m a very petite person already so I know I need to focus on toning up the stomach area and would love to lose some of the fat in not only my mid-section but a little more on my thighs as well.
Tonight I took measurements for the first time after starting the program. My initial measurements were listed in my first blog post. I had gained quite a bit of weight over the past year and even though I had already started working on losing it before I joined the George Foreman Knock Out The Fat Weight Loss Challenge, the past seven weeks were the real push to make a healthy lifestyle change instead of just starting a diet that wouldn’t last. I’m so excited to announce I’ve lost a full inch in my stomach and a half an inch in my thighs and arms.
