5 Weeks Down – Knock Out The Fat With George Foreman
I did great for almost five full weeks. I was so proud of myself for selecting healthy options with almost every single meal and snack. I stopped buying junk food and stopped eating late at night. That is until I went out of town this weekend…
The kids and I went to San Antonio for the weekend to visit Sea World on Saturday. First I’d like to say that there was plenty of healthy options at Sea World to eat. That was not my issue. My issue was the fact there was also the food I hadn’t eaten in a long time staring me in the face as I walked down the food line. When the kids got chili-cheese hot dogs for lunch and french fries, I couldn’t help myself from eating some. Also since we were given the all day dine pass all of our food was included, even desserts. I’m sure you know how that went!
I have never been an emotional eater. I’ve never been a binge eater. Matter of fact I’m one of those people that will even skip meals because I’m too busy or forget. However, I do love unhealthy foods. Not a big dessert person but Queso, Italian food and Mexican food are my weaknesses. Come Sunday I actually felt bad from eating all the unhealthy foods. During our roadtrip I even bought fast food and didn’t go with the healthy options. It’s like I wasn’t even thinking straight.
I was so nervous to weigh myself today but thankfully I only gained back 0.5 lb. I was almost certain that I gained the full three lbs back that I had lost so far.
We used the George Foreman last Wednesday for my mom’s birthday to grill hamburgers for lunch. T created a fun video of how easy it is to use the George Foreman to grill hamburgers with less fat. Enjoy!
Full Disclosure: I am one of 10 Brand Ambassadors in the George Foreman Knock out the Fat Weight Loss Challenge. I was sent a George Foreman Grill for my participation in this challenge and will be compensated for my time at the end of the 90 day challenge. HOWEVER, ALL opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own.
Everybody has a “bad” week, so to speak. Don’t let it eat at you, just jump up and get back on the road- you can do it!
Good luck!
I am glad it was only a .5 pound gain for you after an all-day food pass. I do not think weight is the best metric for you because you do not seem like you are trying to lose weight vs. altering your diet so it is healthier.
Hey don’t knock your self, you did great! you are allowed to indulge once in while!
