2 Weeks Down – Knock Out The Fat With George Foreman

|

It has been a full two weeks since I joined the Knock Out The Fat With George Foreman Weight Loss Challenge.  My family and I have truly enjoyed cooking on the George Foreman.  I’m a total dishwasher mom, meaning I rinse and load the dishes instead of clean by hand.  I love how the George Foreman has removable grilling trays that fit easily into my dishwasher so they are clean and ready to cook the next day’s meal.  Eating healthy meals has been a nice experience for us and we are learning quit a bit.

Last week I told you how much my kids love helping me cook.  I promised to show the video of T and Noah preparing turkey burgers and using the George Foreman.  It’s so simple to cook on that T loves it.  Watch the cute video of them using the George Foreman below.

This week we made flank steak fajitas again, honey soy chicken (my new favorite), grilled chicken with brown rice and grilled squash and grilled chicken pitas.  Every time I use the George Foreman I always prepared extra meat to use for my lunch the next day.  I just toss some grilled chicken on a salad or a sandwich using whole wheat bread and stuffed with raw veggies.  The great thing about the George Foreman is the size is plenty big enough for me to cook extra meat and it also cooks really fast so if I do want to grill two rounds of meat it isn’t a hassle at all.  Being a single mom with a really busy schedule I am always looking for ways to cut corners and save time.

I haven’t worked out as much as I’d like so I was sure I had not lost any weight this week.  Boy was I wrong.  I’ve lost nearly two pounds since last Monday!  Woohoo, I’m excited.

Full Disclosure: I am one of 10 Brand Ambassadors in the George Foreman Knock out the Fat Weight Loss Challenge. I was sent a George Foreman Grill for my participation in this challenge and will be compensated for my time at the end of the 90 day challenge. HOWEVER, ALL opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own.
