11 Weeks Down – Knock Out The Fat With George Foreman

For the past couple of weeks I’ve realized I have developed a sensitivity to caffeine.  I’m guessing it’s from the lower calorie diet and the fact I wasn’t drinking near as many Dr. Peppers as I was prior to starting the Knock Out The Fat Weight Loss Challenge.  To be honest the first week it started I didn’t realize what was going on and the side effects were kind of scary.  I would drink tea at night sometimes while working on a blog post or watching a TV show with T and I would get the jitters and even my chest would feel real weird.  Caffeine has never done that to me.  I’m the kind of gal who can drink Red Bull like crazy and never feel a true rush from it.  Dr. Pepper was my drink of choice.  Now I’m drinking bottled water, decaf tea and the occasional strawberry lemonade.

Positive: It’s healthier for me, by a long shot, to not drink caffeine and to stir clear of Dr. Pepper.

Not So Positive: I’m sluggish at times.  Even when I want to drink a full bottle of Dr. Pepper for the quick ‘pick me up’, I can’t.  It makes me feel crappy.

I’m happy with my healthy lifestyle changes.  It doesn’t feel like a diet at all.  I’m eating smaller portions, healthier snacks and have cut out most of the junk food.  I will eat the occasional chips and of course I had some small desserts at T’s birthday party this weekend.  However, it’s all working and I’m feeling much better.  The fact the unhealthy food and drinks make me feel like crap makes it a little easier as well.  It’s just a nice reminder that I truly don’t need them.

Plus I’m excited to announce… I lost another pound this week!  That’s a total of 5 pounds gone.

Full Disclosure: I am one of 10 Brand Ambassadors in the George Foreman Knock out the Fat Weight Loss Challenge. I was sent a George Foreman Grill for my participation in this challenge and will be compensated for my time at the end of the 90 day challenge. HOWEVER, ALL opinions expressed in this post are 100% my own.
