10 Verses to Keep You Positive
Sometimes it’s a struggle just to stay positive in today’s world. When you turn on the news or drive around town, all you see and hear are about bad things. These ten verses will help keep your day positive. Keep these verses with you, so you have something positive to keep you inspired throughout your entire day. God’s plans are bigger for us than we could ever imagine and these verses are a great reminder.
Just remember that just because you are having a bad day, it does not mean you should lash out to others. Try to keep what comes out of your mouth positive too.
It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth. {NLT – Matthew 15:11}
Although you might be having a bad day, it’s still important to keep in good spirit. Having a cheerful heart will be more of a blessing to others than you could ever think.

Shouldn’t we give thanks to God for our circumstances? Even though I may be having a bad day, someone else has it much worse. My circumstances should not define my day and I should always give thanks!
Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever. {Psalms 136:26}
It’s no secret that I love this verse. I love being reminded that no matter what kind of day I’m having, God still has plans for me and they are to help me and not harm me.

Oh, this verse is such a great reminder. I need to make sure that no matter what is coming out of my mouth—it’s still positive.

If we’re being real and honest, it can be hard to have a positive day because of other people. It’s important to be strong and courageous, and we can ask for these characteristics from the Lord.
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. {Deuteronomy 31:6}
At the end of the day, no matter how bad it is, just remember that you’ll always have your salvation. Our time on this earth isn’t forever, so cherish it, but also look forward to the future of Eternity with Jesus Christ.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid? {Psalm 27:1}
I love the reminder of the powerful God we serve. Even if I have tears in my eyes, He will wipe them away. I have to remember that He’s there with me every moment, even when I feel alone.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. {Revelation 21:4}
Are you unsure of which way you should turn? Make sure you pray and ask God for direction. If you’re having a bad day, He can still turn it around.
