Monday is One Day – Children Book Review

Monday is One Day, Children Book, Bedtime Story

I recently received the new Scholastic children’s book: Monday is One Day to read to Noah. It’s a cute story where each day is rhymed with something fun the parent and child does together. Noah enjoyed the story and it was a great conversation starter for us.

Since the book tells from the perspective of parents going to work outside of the home it gave us a chance to look at how our family situation is different. Noah’s father is a police officer and doesn’t work a normal Monday through Friday job. I work from a home office so my hours aren’t exactly the same each day either.

We compared the story to Noah’s big sisters going to school all day and him occasionally visiting grandparents. He especially enjoyed the dinosaur growling on Thursdays. I loved all the illustrations and Noah made me read the story twice each night just to look over it again.

I have 3 copies of Monday is One Day to give away to 3 separate readers!
