Trip to Forks, WA to celebrate T’s 13th Birthday

We ate Chinese food this week and my fortune said ‘An airplane ride is soon in your future sending you to fun!‘ That’s so true. I’m so excited to announce that I’m taking T to Forks, WA to visit all the Twilight Saga scenes.  I have had this trip in the mix of being planned for quite some time now.  I have tweeted about it leading up to her whole 13th birthday celebration bash using the hashtag #Tturns13.  Her actual birthday was on July 24th but we were out of town in San Antonio so her party was on July 27th.

I bought her the cutest Twilight scrapbook album from Etsy.  I wanted to make the trip a very special present since it would mean so much to her and I thought for a long time how to surprise her with it at her party.  Since she would need a scrapbook to keep her special memories in from her trip I decided to google Twilight themed ones.  I fell in LOVE with this adorable Forks, WA one and ordered it right away.  Plus it was made right in Forks by a woman who also owns a store we plan to visit.  How exciting, right?! I printed off the airplane tickets and placed them in the back of the scrapbook, then wrapped up the present.  I saved this present for last since I knew she would be very overwhelmed with excitement.  That’s probably understated after watching the video below.  She was so excited just to receive the Twilight album that her mouth dropped in awe while browsing through.  I know in her head she was already planning out her birthday photos inside, until ….. she reached the back of the album and there were the airplane tickets.
