Love the Coopers opens in theaters this Friday, November 13th and will make a perfect holiday film to see with the family.  One lucky reader will win a $50 Visa gift card to see the movie in theaters – enter below.  Our family has already started watching Christmas movies at home.  It is our favorite time of the year and a tradition for us to gather together and watch Christmas films while drinking hot cocoa.  If it is cold enough we even light a fire.

The week of Thanksgiving we always head to the movie theater and catch the most recent released Christmas movie with my parents.  Three generations of tradition.  I know this year we are excited to see Love The Coopers.  I enjoy seeing Diane Keaton on the big screen and Ed Helms is pretty funny as well.

Love The Coopers follows The Cooper clan as four generations of extended family come together for their annual Christmas Eve celebration. As the evening unfolds, a series of unexpected visitors and unlikely events turn the night upside down, leading them all toward a surprising rediscovery of family bonds and the spirit of the holiday.

I think we can all relate to the rush and hustle of hosting a family gathering.  Our family is pretty large with several nieces and nephews.  My immediate family consists of seven, so you can only imagine when we host a gathering that includes grandparents and aunts/uncles.  I love watching Christmas movies that shows the holiday chaos in a funny reflection that I can feel confident my situation is not as bad.

The holidays are all about making memories.  We take our family photos over the holidays each year and try to capture as many of the grand-kids in a photo as we can.  Nothing beats sitting around the Christmas tree with family, reminiscing.
