Blended Family Mom Necklace – Uncommon Goods

When deciding which stones to add to my totem necklace I searched stones that represented the month each child was born.  Some stones were easy to find and others a little more challenging.  Some of the stones do not necessarily represent the month but they represent the astrology sign of the child.  For instance the Carnelian stone is the power stone for April which is the month Gabby was born.  Vanessa was also born in April but I wanted each stone to be different.  Instead I used the Rose Quartz for her since she was born in late April making her a Taurus and the Rose Quartz is the power stone for that astrology sign.  Love happens to be Vanessa’s middle name and also the meaning behind the Rose Quartz.

I had a fabulous time researching all the stones and selecting the most fitting combination for our blended family.

Each stone has its own meaning behind it as well.  Carrying around strength, love, emotional balance, healing & good fortune and ambition is pretty powerful.  Those are all amazing qualities to tie around my neck daily.
