Are you the Odd Mom Out?

This story is brought to you by Bravo’s new show: Odd Mom Out.

Have you seen the trailer for the upcoming new show on Bravo, Odd Mom Out?  Looks funny, doesn’t it?  It is.  It’s ridiculously hilarious.  It’s racy.  It’s edgy.  It’s blow-your-mind absurd what some of the ‘rich‘ moms do and the take Jill has on it all will keep you wanting to watch more.  Jill, played by Jill Kargman, shows what it is like to deal with difficult in-laws, get caught up in the moment and almost change who you are to fit in… but not quite.  I give her props for being a supportive wife and sticking with her husband, even though his family is a little crazy.  A lot crazy…?

Bravo's Odd Mom Out

Could you imagine always striving for the need to be polished, perfect and fighting for the top?  Sounds exhausting.  Jill watches the chaos and not only refuses to join in, she pokes fun at those around her in a snarky way.  Her best friend, Vanessa – played by KK Glick, is a successful doctor yet still hasn’t reached the height of wealthiness as Jill’s in-laws.  Vanessa is down-to-earth yet brings her own set of comedy to the show with her commitment and dating issues.  The two friends keep one another grounded.

I was given the chance to watch the first two episodes as a screener and I cannot wait until it airs on Bravo.

Still haven’t seen the trailer yet?  Go ahead… I’ll wait.

My husband watched the show with me and I remember him saying during one scene “did she just say what I thought she said?“.  Why yes, yes she did.  Like I said, it is a little edgy but that’s what makes it so hilarious.  Jill says what most of you are thinking.

Odd Mom Out reminds me of a trip I took to LA for a few days with my childhood best friend.  We were there for a movie premiere and met some new friends for the first time during this trip.  There were several events leading up to the red carpet premiere so we all got to know one another fairly well.  Lots of laughter was shared.  I’ve known my best friend since we were two-years-old.  We share inside jokes.  We laugh at highly inappropriate things.  We get one another.  On our third day in LA we attended a screening of an upcoming movie and some of our new friends were in the seats in front of us.  A completely innocent scene came on screen and one of the actors made an innocent remark that sounded dirty.  My BF and I started cracking up.  Our new friends immediately turned around and said “I KNEW you two would laugh at that.  I just knew it.”  Sometimes being the Odd Mom Out is the best way to be.  It’s the most fun.

Do you have a friend you can cut loose with and laugh about anything?
