Search with Bing and Earn Rewards
While I was at Type-A Parent Conference in Atlanta during September I had a chance to meet with the people from Bing. We learned about their new program to benefit local schools. It’s pretty simple really. You sign up for a Bing account (for free) and then use their search engine to browse the internet. While you are searching for topics specific to you, you are racking up reward points. You can then turn those rewards into a cash donation to a school of your choice.
In the Bing Suite located at the conference they had a fun photo area filled with props. They were giving away some Bing swag as prizes randomly through Instagram photos shared. My good friend, Jennifer, and I had a blast goofing off with the props and even won a t-shirt! We were eager to promote #BingforSchools and had a good laugh at ourselves.

Have you signed up for Bing Rewards? Even if you do not have a local school to donate your rewards to, Bing offers many ways to cash in your rewards on gift cards! Why not save money on the items you need by getting them for free through Bing?

That bing rewards lounge was fantastic. A friend and I sat at the crafts table and painted blocks while we surfed the web during down time!
The ladies were so nice too!
I just signed up, worth checking out. Thanks for sharing girl!
Very similar to Swag Bucks which I’ve used for years. I love seeing websites give back to their users. Especially since we are the ones that see all the ads 😉
I love that BING is giving back to schools – they are so in need right now!! I signed up while I was at Type A and I can’t wait to keep earning rewards for them.
What a great program. Can’t wait to get started!
It’s great when a company gives back – that makes a huge statement. Love the post & the pictures!! 🙂
Going to need to check it out! THanks for sharing 🙂
Yet another reason to be sad that I missed Type A this year. 🙁 What a great , and easy, way to give back to schools!
I had no idea about the Bing Rewards! I’ll have to check it out! You guys look like you had do much fun at Type A! I have to make sure I go next year!
Type-A Conference is a blast! I always learn something new each year.
I wasn’t aware that Bing had a rewards program. I tend to stick to Google. I’ll have to look into it. Thanks!
I think most of us could easily find a local school for donations. Great program, Bing!
Bing for Schools sounds like such a great program. I’m going to have to sign-up for it on Internet Explorer so when I use that browser I can be racking up some points 🙂
Good idea. Mixing it up between browsers to keep your options open and more ways to earn rewards.
I heard about type A when it was over I am so out of the loop of what goes on in Atlanta. Glad they give back to schools that’s a good thing
I had no idea that Bing offered a rewards program. Will definitely have to check it out since you can set it up to donate to schools. I love when companies do stuff like this.
I do too. Such an easy way for us to give back without being out of pocket ourselves.
What a great way to help raise money for schools!! I will definitely have to check this out! Thanks for sharing! And love your photos! I love the photo booths that are popping up at conferences!
I love playing in photo booths everywhere. We are able to capture such candid moments.
The reward program sounds awesome! I love that they’re giving back to schools.
I never heard of Bing Rewards but it sounds awesome!
Ohhh thanks for sharing! Just signed up for Bing Rewards 🙂 Great photos!!
Thanks for signing up!
I will have to check this out too. I love companies that give back to schools. 🙂
How did I not see you at Type A? I’ve been wanting to meet you in person for years! I love this idea of earning rewards to help schools that Bing offers!
I stayed in the expo area most of the time. My client has been a sponsor for the last two years so I helped with their booth. The conference went by quickly, I felt like I didn’t get a chance to meet many new people I wanted to!
