Watched The Hilarious Unleashed Film Today

|

I received an early screening of this movie. All opinions are my own.

When I was first introduced to the new Indie film, Unleashed, I expected a cute, light-hearted comedy. I never expected this level of hilariousness. I screened the movie from home while I was working and it quickly had my full attention. The beginning started out a little slow and I half-expected it to be overly cheesy. However, I caught myself loudly laughing and excited to share the film with others.

Emma, a brilliant but awkward app designer, moves to San Francisco after a massive betrayal by her boyfriend with only her beloved pets, an adorable cat and an energetic mutt, in tow. One night, drawn by the light of a Supermoon, Emma’s pets escape into the night and are transformed into full-grown men, forcing Emma to reconsider her outlook on dating and hilariously work out her trust issues.

Just imagine your dog turning into a man. A man walking the city streets acting like a dog. From eating food directly out of a bowl with his mouth to sniffing human strangers. There were so many realistic quirks that both Emma’s pets displayed as grown human adults, it is exactly as you would picture.

The dog kept me laughing to the point I was almost in tears and the cat was brilliantly played out as sassy, confident, sexy, and spoiled. Both of the men were as loyal to Emma as human men as they were as her pets. They started to compete for her attention the way two pets would do.

  1. I love them both! Currently, I’d say #TeamCat. We’re looking to rescue a kitten soon. This movie looks so good!

  2. I’m team cat. I like dogs but they are too much work for my schedule. My cat is just perfect. Thank you for the chance to win.
