Free Creative Event for Kids at Dallas Gap Stores

This Saturday, August 11th my kids and I will be attending one of the Gap Shine On events in Dallas, Texas. Over the next three Saturdays select GapKids stores are hosting live events to encourage your kids to be creative and unleash their inner artist. I am excited to see how their geometric masterpieces turn out. I know they’ll have fun painting on canvas and just in time for school starting back this month they will get the opportunity to make custom journals. We love taking part in DIY projects as a family so making an event out of it is just a bonus!

This special series is inspired by the GapKids and babyGap fall collection designed by Merrilee Liddiard of Mer Mag.  Collection includes the best new 1969 denim – Jewel Box Skinnies for girls (the new skinny jean updated in bright stretchy denim) and Action Stretch Denim for boys (designed for play all day- it’s denim that’s made to move).
